- Despite the others making fun of him for having a glowing red nose. He doesn't act mean back towards him, and remains friendly throughout the films.

- Even though he got mad at Clarice for saying he talks funny, when his red nose was hidden from everyone else. He didn't show anything like that again, and loved that she thinks he's cute.
- Befriended another misfit Hermey The Elf, who wanted to be a dentist, and sang one of the greatest songs in the film "We're A Couple Of Misfits", with him.
- On his adventure with Hermey, he met other friends along the way, such as Yukon Cornelius, and the misfit toys.
- Despite leaving Hermey, and Yukon on the Island Of Misfit Toys. He only did so because he didn't wanna endanger them from his glowing red nose, and regretted it later on.
- After returning to Christmas Town, and he figured out that his parents, and Clarice were looking for him. He went to go find them, even when the big snow storm of the year hit.
- He stood up to the Abominable Snow Monster telling him to "put Clarice down", and tried fighting him off, only to get hit in the head by the Bumble, but regained consciousness.
- Loves his doefriend Clarice, and makes a great loving couple with her.
- Saved Christmas by using his glowing red nose to help Santa Claus see his way through the storm while delivering presents to the children of the world, and also stopping at the Island Of Misfit Toys so the toys could have a child who would want to play with them.
- In other films of his, he defeated many villains who tried to ruin Christmas, such as The Toy Taker, and especially had a crossover with Frosty The Snowman becoming best friends with him.
- Some versions of his character have gained the ability not just to have a glowing red nose, but also the ability to shoot lasers out of his red nose, such as in Regular Show.
