Raphael is an alligator snapping turtle who was mutated to become part human. He is one of the main protagonists of the Rise of the Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles TV series. He is the oldest and former leader of the Ninja Turtles. His weapons were a pair of tonfā, which help him tap into the power of "Smash-Jutsu", until they were destroyed, and replaced by his sais.

Why He Rocks

1. He started out as the leader, and while that's different it isn't a bad thing. He's shown to be pretty good at it.
2. He would never give up and always do his best.
3. His strong design looks amazing.
4. His voice actor, Omar Benson Miller, does an impressive job.
5. He own's up to his mistakes and never blames anyone else.
6. He is also really funny.
7. He is a sympathetic character.
8. In the season 2 finale, he looked like Naruto when fighting Shredder.
