Ralph Alessandro Giuseppe "Ralphie" Tennelli is a 10-year-old student in Ms. Frizzle's class. He has had three voice actors: Stuart Stone in all four original seasons, Matthew Mintz in Season 1 and Season 2 of Rides Again, and currently Matthew Mucci in Season 3 of Rides Again.

Bio

Ralphie was born to Dr. Tennelli and Mr. Tennelli. His mother is a medical doctor and his father works at an Italian restaurant. His younger brother Nick Tennelli, who was in Basketball Practice. He has his stepbrother Robbie Tennelli, who was in Ms. Frizzle's class. His grandparents Grandpa and Nona Tennelli, they lived in Walkerville Farm. His uncles Brian and Ed Tennelli, they lived in Walkerville, Virginia. His aunt and cousins are the Flying Tennellis, a trio of trapeze artists. His pet dog Noodles Tennelli is also at an Italian restaurant.

She appears to have a playful relationship with him, such as remarking "Even your jokes are sick" when he makes a lame joke when he's sick and telling him with a smile to stop being "a pain in the neck" before she goes to talk to Ms. Frizzle. Ralphie seems to take after his mom, especially with "Is it just me, or..." He mentions her in Ups and Downs, Frizzle of the Future, The Magnetic Mambo and Kids in Space.
  • Ralphie's father and appears in Plays Ball and Gains Weight. He appears to have a playful relationship with him, such as remarking "Nice catch, son!" Ralphie seems to take after his dad, especially with "Is it just me, or..." He mentions him in Gets Eaten and The Good, the Bad, and the Gnocchi. His class, telling about how he puts anchovies on pizza to keep Ralphie from eating it.

Ralphie seems to make a colors of rainbow in Ms. Valerie's Frizzle's class, especially with "Is it just me, or..." He only mention him in Goes Upstream. So, Ralphie going fishing with his Uncle Brian.
  • Ralphie's uncle Ed and only appear in Gets Swamped. He appear to have a playful relationship with him, such as remarking "My little guy!" Ralphie seems to be weather, like, rain, especially with "Is it just me, or..." He only mention him in Shows and Tells. So, he makes a side comment about there being around photo of his Uncle Ed in his house, as he says, "[whose] Uncle Ed's head is kind of pointy".
  • The Flying Tennellis consist of his Aunt, and his two cousins, Teresina and Tony. They only appear in Ralphie and the Flying Tennellis.
  • He owns a pet dog named Noodles. He's at an Italian restaurant. His only appear in The Good, the Bad, and the Gnocchi.

Why He Rocks

  1. He is a very good baseball player.
  2. He is kind, fun-loving guy who has a positive attitude towards almost everything and everyone he encounters.
  3. He is a very creative and imaginative.
  4. He loves going on field trips along with the modern nine students (Arnold, Wanda, Keesha, Jyoti, Phoebe, D.A, Carlos, and Tim).
  5. Despite Carlos being the only one who like telling jokes, he likes to tell jokes like him too.
  6. Similar to Ed from Ed, Edd n Eddy, he loves reading science fiction comic books as stated in (Kicks Up A Storm and Going Batty).
  7. His famous quote in every episode, "Is it just me..." is a memorable quote.

Bad Qualities

  1. Ralphie can sometimes be easy to get annoyed or mad with, such as his jokes failing in For Lunch, The Busasaurus, Out of this World, and Makes A Rainbow. It makes the rest mostly D.A and Keesha to call out his name "Ralphie!" makes him feel a little scared.
  2. He dislikes anchovies on a pizza.
  3. He tends to dislike the digestive system's part called (the stomach) as seen in episode For Lunch and Goes Cellular.
