“Hey! Dragon. DRAGON, not lizard. I don't do that tongue thing."

Mushu is the deuteragonist in Disney’s 1998 full-length animated film, Mulan. He is voiced by Eddie Murphy.

Why He Rocks

  1. He’s a hilarious comic relief.
  2. Eddie Murphy did a fantastic job voicing him.
  3. He was rather helpful to Mulan, and assisted her in warding off the Hun invasion.
  4. He said funny quotes like: “CHICKEN BOY?! SAY THAT TO MY FACE, YA LIMP NOODLE!”, “Hey, don't look at me, I ain't bitin' no more butts,” and “You missed?!? How could you miss?! He was three feet in FRONT OF YOU!”
  5. While he and Cri-Kee are frenemies, Mushu valued Cri-Kee as a friend and sidekick.
  6. He made a very good spirit guide.
  7. He was also one of Disney’s funniest characters ever created.
  8. He’s likable in other Disney media, like the House of Mouse TV show, and the Kingdom Hearts games.

Bad Qualities

  1. He might be self-centered at times even while still likable.
  2. He can be impatient.
  3. He is blatantly flanderized in Mulan II, where he was portrayed as a creepy, self-centered, manipulative jerk.
