Quetzalcoatl (ケツァルコアトル Ketsarukoatoru), often reffered to as Lucoa (ルコア Rukoa), is a supporting character of Miss Kobayashi's Dragon Maid and a main protagonist of Miss Kobayashi's Dragon Maid: Lucoa is my xx. She is the fourth dragon to appear in the series, appearing right after Fafnir.
Why She Rocks
- Lucoa's design is very pretty; especially in human form.
- Lucoa is very cheerful to the point she barely frowns.
- Similar to Fafnir, she is shown as Tohru's senior and is always there for advice; especially considering Lucoa was a goddess once.
- Also similar to Fafnir, Lucoa is calm and collected, except the latter is very optimistic while the former is pessimistic while keeping his cool.
- She has a lot of funny moments; most notably with Shouta Magatsuchi.
- Lucoa is also very trustworthy; most notably with Kobayashi while Tohru is away.
Bad Qualities
- Lucoa seems to be intimidating towards Shouta due to the fact the latter mistakes her for a demon while in reality, she's a dragon.
- As mentioned in GQ #2, she barely frowns; presumably because she sees everything optimistic.
- Her huge breasts may be a bit too sexual.
Trivia
- Lucoa tends to be the main fan-service character, possessing huge breasts, a sleeveless tunic, and short shorts, thus literally giving her a meme status.
- Despite being an ex-goddess, Lucoa is based on the Aztec god Quetzalcoatl.
- Lucoa (Her nickname) is derived from the name "Quetzalcoatl" as well.
