Harry Potter is the titular protagonist of the franchise of the same name. He is a legendary wizard, who is known as “The Boy Who Lived” and Lord Voldemort’s killer.
Why He Rocks[]
- He shares the same eye color as his mother, Lily. This comes up many times in the series, and with Snape's last words even pertaining to that.
- He is also mentioned many times to look so much like his father, James.
- He formed Dumbledore's Army and encouraged many of the students to fight back against injustice.
- Harry has a great heart, and can be very understanding as well as forgiving. In the books when Pettigrew dies Harry is disgusted at what Voldemort did to Pettigrew, and felt bad for him, even acknowledging that Pettigrew felt remorse and was pretty lost.
- Harry is one of the main reasons the dark lord Voldemort was vanquished. Not only did he kill Voldemort but he inspired everyone at Hogwarts to fight back. Neville's speech was made in large part made because of how much Harry inspired him.
- Harry has an interesting story and origin. He survived the killing curse at point blank range, and it ricocheted off which killed Voldemort. Harry was told his parents love gave him the ultimate protection, which saved his life. Harry would almost always choose love instead of hate throughout his life, which is poetic.
Bad Qualities[]
- He can be very wrathful and destructive, to the point of using the Cruciatus curse on Bellatrix, a forbidden/unforgivable spell.
- He sometimes took joy in watching his bullies get harassed, such when he felt pretty good seeing Draco Malfoy get turned into a ferret. He doesn't act this way in the end of series though.
