Hades is the main antagonist of Disney's 35th animated feature film, Hercules. He is the ruler of the Underworld, Pain and Panic's leader and boss, Hercules' uncle and arch-nemesis, and Zeus' younger (older in original Greek mythology) brother.
He is played by James Woods.
Why He Rocks
- He was portrayed by James Woods, who mastered his portrayal and made Hades a very iconic and popular Disney villain.
- Despite being the villain, he's an excellent comic relief and told some pretty funny jokes.
- He constantly gets abused by the other Gods and his brother Zeus, and has to live under Zeus' shadow all the time, causing him to turn into vengeful crook.
- He's proven to be very smart and smooth.
- Similar to Ursula and Dr. Facilier, he likes to make fake deals with people, then cheat them out for their own entertainmen.
- "What. are. those?!"
