Great Characters Wiki

Grumpy is one of the seven dwarfs in Disney's 1937 film, Snow White and the Seven Dwarfs.

Why He Rocks

  1. He truly lives up to his name, being mean and sarcastic and having apologetic rages throughout the majority of the film.
  2. For anyone who disfavors Snow White, Grumpy can be very lively for the audience.
  3. Usually when he complains about something, he make some good points.
  4. Despite usually being mean, his rudeness makes him one of the smartest and most serious members of the dwarfs.
  5. Underneath his sarcastic quotes, he's got a soft and caring side for Snow White and the other dwarfs.
  6. His forms of warming up to Snow White are very generous. When the dwarfs find out the Queen was after Snow White, Grumpy's the one who started a charge against the Queen.
    • Also, during Snow's funeral, he is the one who puts some flowers on top of Snow White when they open the coffin to mourn her. This proves that he cares about Snow White and her safety. He was also very happy along with the other dwarfs when the Prince woke Snow White from her slumber and broke the curse, being relived she was ok.
  7. He remains likable in the TV show, The 7D, where he and his brothers are their lovable selves, and are also the heroes of Jollywood, always follow and protect Queen Delightful whenever she needs them, and defeats evil threats like Grim and Hildy Gloom.

Bad Qualities

  1. His design in The 7D doesn’t look the same like his original appearance.
  2. He can be unlikable sometimes during the TV show.
  3. There are 2 episodes of the TV show that he had said some mean words in a kid's show (it is similar to a Powerpuff Girls epiosde "Curses"). Thankfully, Happy warned the audience to cover their ears from hearing Grumpy's censored rude language.
