Dominic "Dicky" Steven Harper was one of the Harper quadruplets and one of the main protagonists of the Nickelodeon series, Nicky, Ricky, Dicky & Dawn. Dicky was the third quad born. He is also considered the “cool quad”. He can also be the main reason the Quads' plans fail. Dicky is portrayed by Mace Coronel.
Why He Rocked[]
- His name rhymes with his brothers, all having icky in them, which is funny, Dicky.
- He’s the 2nd youngest of his siblings, and he often considered the cool one of the group, yet he’s the reason the siblings’ plans usually fail, which is funny. Despite acting cool, he never is afraid to drop the cool act if it means helping his family and friends in many situations.
- His creative sibling rivalry plot with Nicky, Ricky & Dawn, which is awesome.
- He has very funny moments, such as he, Nicky, and Ricky hosting a play, and failing miserably, due to Dawn interrupting it, causing them to fight in front of everybody.
- He comes up with interesting ideas in their adventures, such as him and the rest of the Harper Quads hosting a Quad Court to resolve everyone's conflicts.
- He teaches very good morals sometimes, like him showing that sometimes trying to be cool isn’t always good, and is better to be your true self.
- He loves his family and friends very much, and he will often help them in any way he can.
- He brings back the charm seen in the original Nickcom characters, such as Drake Parker and Josh Nichols, Carly Shay, and Cat Valentine.
- He has an awesome, deep, heartwarming bond with his siblings, and he loves them very much.
Bad Qualities[]
- He was sadly flanderized in Seasons 3-4, becoming an unlikable douche.
- Even before he was flanderized, he can be unlikable sometimes.
- His name, Dicky, can seem a bit inappropriate for some people.
- His sibling rivalry with Nicky, Ricky & Dawn can be a bit mean-spirited at times.
- He can be painfully unfunny at times.
- He can be neurotic and impatient at times
- He was replaced by Britt in the fourth and last season, due to Dicky's original actor, Mace Coronel, leaving Nickelodeon for other projects. This sadly meant he never appeared in the finale, and never got the chance to redeem himself, while his siblings did.
