Why He Rocks

1. He's funny and adorably goofy.
2. His relationship with Jewel is one of the best parts of the first film.
3. His arc from a defenseless pet to a badass hero is pretty good.
4. He actually learns how to fly at the end of the movie.
5. His interaction with wild animals while he lived with humans for his whole life are hilarious.
6. He has a compassionate side, as seen when he wished Nigel well in their first meeting.

Bad Qualities

1. He could be annoying sometimes in the first film.
2. As mentioned in WHR#2, he used to be a coward pet, but that's understandable because of the trauma of falling from a tree when he was a baby.
3. His dumb moment where he hits the wrong goal during a soccer game in Rio 2.
